Facility LNG peak shaving terminal, Gulf Coast region — greenfield construction, EPC delivery
Scope Independent pre-commissioning inspection of all E&I installations — instrumentation verification, cable tray and conduit checks, hazardous area equipment review, and punch list generation
Outcome: 140+ punch items identified and documented prior to loop check phase — preventing energization delays and rework during commissioning.
Reliability
Gas Transmission Pipeline Station
Facility Interstate pipeline compressor station with history of recurring ESD trips and nuisance shutdowns
Scope Root cause analysis of recurring process trips, PLC logic review, alarm rationalization, and development of a targeted preventive maintenance schedule
Outcome: Repeat shutdown cause identified and corrected. Unplanned downtime reduced significantly within 60 days of implementation.
Commissioning
Midstream Gas Processing Facility
Facility Midstream processing plant expansion — Permian Basin, new gas treating unit tied into existing DCS
Scope Instrument loop checks, DCS I/O verification, SIS cause & effect testing, valve stroke testing, and turnover package documentation using client's Hexagon completions platform
Outcome: New unit integrated into existing facility and handed over within the scheduled turnaround window with full documentation package.
QAQC
Refinery Turnaround — E&I Inspection
Facility Gulf Coast refinery — scheduled turnaround with new instrumentation installation across multiple process units
Scope Third-party QAQC inspection of new instrument installations, photographic punch list package, and pre-commissioning readiness certification ahead of startup
Outcome: All inspection items documented and closed before the commissioning team mobilized — startup proceeded without E&I-related delays.
